Eddie is a white queer and trans community artist, organizer, and educator based in Toronto. They obtained an undergraduate degree in Fine Art from OCADU with specialties in Photography, Printmaking, Fibre, and Gender studies, as well as a diploma from the Assaulted Women and Children's Counselling and Advocacy program at George Brown College, where they graduated with honours and multiple awards. Eddie has been working in the community arts sector for years as a facilitator, organizer, and support worker. They are invested in creating and fostering spaces that combine anti racism/anti oppression practices with arts practice and creativity. Working primarily with marginalized youth and the LGBTQ spectrum community, they have previously worked in community arts spaces such as Sketch and Gallery 44. They currently work at the Community Action Center at George Brown College as Women (cis & trans) and Trans Student Support Staff, as well as sitting on the Toronto Queer Zine Fair collective.
